learningCentral includes a new assessment system based on weighted average score. With this option administrators can give more weight to certain assessable activities to test the progress of students in a course.

The Requirements to pass a course can be selected on Create courses screen or by editing its course details.
.Students can check their weighted average score weighted and and the number of compulsory activities passed out of the total.
In addition to the new Minimum score system (by passing weighted score), the previous system based on passing a percentage of activities is still available. This system has changed and now only compulsory activities passed are taking into account (formerly all percentages of activities were taken into account).
