Creating a collection

A collection is a group of courses or plans. It is possible to grant permissions so that students can access a collection. Students themselves can request access to the course that interests them. If the course is part of a collection, once their request has been accepted, students can access all training included in that collection.

To create a collection:

  1. Go to "Collections".
  2. Click on "Create collection".
  3. Fill in the fields and click on "Create".

Access policy

When creating a collection, the access policy that will be applied to the students can be configured.

  1. Request access. Students can request access to a course. If a request is accepted, a student has access the entire collection. This option can be limited by time range.
  2. Only administrators can provide access to students. This option allows providing access to students selected by an administrator.
  3. Free access. Students have available the access to the courses

Enable collection view by default

You can set the student portal with the Collection View as default to navigate within the catalogue.
