Before updating a SCORM activity, first we must ensure that the new activity version doesn't have changes in its structure from the previous version.

If the activity content has changed, a new activity must be created, since updating the existing activity could harm its proper functioning.

The changes in the structure are:

  • Modify content title.
  • Add/delete pages.
  • Add/delete quiz questions.
  • Add/delete quizzes.
  • Change a template in case the content has been developed in learningMaker (for example, change from Multipage to Multipage APP).

Once we have checked there are no changes in the structure, follow these steps to update a SCORM activity:

  1. Select an SCORM activity to update from "Activities" section in "Training" menu.

  2. Go to "Edit details" and click on "Seleccionar archivo".
  3. Choose the new package version of the SCORM activity and click on "Save" to update the changes.
